This is not game related in any way, but it is my band!
Me and my girlfriend like to play music, and the other day we recorded one of our songs and put it up.
I thought I would share the link so I can hear what you all think.

What exactly do you mean it seemed to pick up late? I know it might be hard to explain, but I don't seem to get it.

Yea I had a feeling that wouldn't make much sense. Well one example is at 2:02 when you start strumming and then at 2:10 you make the strumming faster that was what I mean by picking up. It just sounds sort of strange to me. I hope you understand what I'm saying now my bad

I know what your talking about now Jon. To be honest, that was just a mistake on my part. I have been practicing, and I believe its better now.
Hopefully we can re-record the song soon now that we have some more practice in us!

Really good i thought - could just do with a drum beat kicking in at somepoint around the middle 2-quarters of the song to really bring it alive, then fade out again at the end of the song
Yeah I would love to get some drums in there, and maybe a part with some piano. I don't have a drummer for my band though at the moment.. Our old one diddn't work out so we are in the middle of finding a new one, so me and my girlfriend just decided to play acoustically for a while.
I just thought of something, If I downloaded a music program, I could just add a drum beat myself. Do you think it would sound funny because its a computerized beat?
I might go for it just for the sake of messing around :]

By all means give it a go, but in my opinion i think you'd have to work very hard/clever to make it fit. I think it would sound out of place and totally let your talents down.
I don't see why it wouldn't work. There are tons of songs that are 100% computerized (sans the singer of course) and lots more that use electronic instruments such as drums. A lot of guitarists create drumbeats to play to as well.
