Is there a way to clear a region on the screen (not the whole screen) of all objects pasted into the background?

Assuming there's no parallaxing involved, and the background behind the pasted backdrop is simple, create another active object over the pasted background and paste as a non-obstacle?

Like this? For example, delete backdrop when clicking on it:
If Mouse clicked-
Delete created backdrops at XMouse, YMouse, 0(no fine detection)
The option to delete created backdrops is in the Frame events with things like scrolling, etc. If you wanted to clear a bigger range, then make a loop to delete all created backdrops at a position that changes during the loop to cover the whole range of backdrops you want deleted.
