I want to create a virtual machine on my windows 7 pc.
On this virtual machine I want to install windows 95.
Does anybody have any experience with this sort of thing?

I installed windows 98 in Virtual Box on my mac.
I play a bunch of old games on it.
It was a pain to setup.
I googled for instructions on how to do it.

I use VBox OSE on linux for this.
Just read some instructions. its just like installing an operating system on real hardware, except its virtual. You set up a virtual hardware (hdd, optical, floppy, ram, vram, etc). you put media image in the hardware, for example a cd iso into the virtual optical drive. you start the virtual machine for that particular setup, and it boots up just like a pc. you have to make sure the cd drive boots first so you can install from the virtual cd image. blah blah blah, its the same freaking thing as real life except its not. get it?
note: just a side note, windows 95 discs have not autorun, so you have to run the installation from the floppy boot disc. like i said. EXACTLY like real life.
