Yep, for that authentic TGF feel, you need to use low quality midis of Blink 182 songs.
Incidentally, wouldn't it be easier for everyone to actually use TGF? It's available from the Clickteam website: http://www.clickteam.com/website/world/download-centre-retired-products

I did install TGF to remind myself of what was missing. Or rather what MMF 1.5 and 2 added. But it's been so long since i used it it felt all weird. I just feel more comfortable using MMF2 now.
Oh also Ive thrown in code from other MMF2 stuff ive got lying around.
I hope using midis from final fantasy games doesn't get a game an authenticity bonus over someone who made their own music. I think that would be an injustice.

I also installed TGF but it felt a bit wierd... And I've already made alot of progress in mmf. Changing code/programs/whatever is the best way to kill a project!
Andy, if anything, that should grant you an authenticity bonus! (EDIT, read that wrong)...

Should I upload just the exe or should I include the MFA file?
If you put a million monkeys at a million keyboards, one of them will eventually write a Java program.
The rest of them will write Perl programs.

I'd prefer you include both in the download, as the judges and I may want to see the assets of the game in addition to playing it. Some of the criteria for judging are related to media files and coding.
So, if possible please include the source.

Ok, but can I have the source in a separate download? I just would prefer not to post it with the download, since it would make it about twice as big for anyone who just wanted to play it and wasn't judging.

If you are worried about distributing sources, please PM me with the link when you submit your entry. I seriously doubt the source will be looked at unless a fairly serious breach of "TGFness" has been made.
@Andy: Any attempt at custom home made quality music will be rewarded.
At moment the judges are me and SMR - but there maybe some more TDC admins joining...

I am sorry to say this but my Laptop has just decided to die and as such has rendered my chance of submitting my game in time none existent.
I will still complete it though as soon as I can get it back up and running. I'll try and get it going again later but i'm too cheesed off to try now. Apologies, especially to my artist as they have worked hard on getting the graphics done for me.
NOT HAPPY!!!!

It's there ^ but Admins have to manually accept a game before it appears.

There were a lot of games and some pretty tough decisions. It hasn't even been that long.

The rest of them will write Perl programs.

I'm just waiting for a huge list of bugs. No one's commented on my download page so I don't even know!
