Hey all, it's Dark One Entertainment here. I was wondering if there was anybody out there with a mic that could do some voices for my game. Well I will need one person for each unit. Since the game I'm making is RTS, you play as ants and stuff. I will explain more to anybody who is willing to do voices or just curious about it. (I'm calling it Ant Ville) Well anyway I'll need quite a few people since you can be 6 different species(and this game is freeware and their is no money involved for the voice actor or the programmer(me) you just get a spot in the credits and lots of thankz).

Alot of people have microphones except they are those crappy ones you get with your computer. Some people have bought those really neat ones with the covering and stuff that are all expensive.
A question to add: how much are those microphones?

DOE: Just use any mic, and when your recording have the quality at "CD" that way its nice a clear... but then its a huge file right? well then just open your fav sound editor and change it to mp3 (which can be played in mmf using the activX object)
I can do some sounds (yes i have a mic)

hint: to stop the 'blowing' sounds you get on those cheapy mics, just hold it under your mouth, and turn mic boost on on your soundcard.

I can do some voices, I got one of them deep voices that's good for announcer type people, like the "Lets's make some crazy money" guy from Crazy Taxi, and the guy who announces killing sprees and such in UT.

I can do some voices with some wicked program i've got actually DC mail me I might just be able to help out..just tell me what you want me to say and i'll email ya it in .wav or an .mp3 format
