Only active objects.
right click the object, Object preferences, third tab, ink effect (dropdown menu) semi-transparent

Or in the event editor you can have the action be Visibility >> Make Object Invisibe if you want it 100% transparent.

when in semitransparent do not BRING TO FRONT in events, it would not be transparent then.
