Just wanting to see what, and how, everyone's doing these days. TDC was such a huge part of my teens, I'm curious to hear what everyone here has been up to over the past... I don't know, 15 years or so?
I'll start: I'm doing alright, all things considered. Unsurprisingly, my body aches more than usual, and I am still no longer making games, let alone playing them much. But my dumb trademark affinity for werewolves and Halloween never went away, even though I'd like to evolve out of it eventually. I show my age and haunt Reddit these days.
I'm a software / devops / data / whatever engineer now. Creatively, I'm squarely focused on illustration and music as my outlets these days, and so far that's been going better than I probably deserve, even if some people still think I'm a furry and not just some bloke who grew up on 90s cartoons.
I've now had a web graphic novel out for a few years, 'See You Next Year', and now a Kickstarter campaign to bring it to a final book form, which ends November 3rd, 2024. It's so far allowed me to communicate my childhood strangeness on a more global, easily marketable scale.

Future plans exist to make one sequel, but then probably just cap werewolf and Halloween stuff for good and call it "mentally processed".
In more TDC-relevant news, I'm super excited for Spring 2025: I'll be flying into Britain to meet up with an old mate I first met here back in 2008, Poobical, who has since won LDJam twice! He is as incredibly talented as I remembered him being, and I'm thrilled for his success. Was fortunate to reconnect with him not so many years back, here, via TDC's good ol' DM system.
Anyway, yeah, what's been up? Where are you with things? What's got you excited? How agile are your bones these days?
Much love to ya.

I'm an old bloke now at the not so sprightly age of 41 (I joined the klik community when I was around 17/18 I think). I still tinker with game creation but my love for it (and zest for life) has definitely waned in favour of other hobbies such as photography/videography/keeping the house clean for my wife
