MooClick also works I suppose, if you truly hate the Network Object..but it rrquires you to enter the IP of the other person on the network

Nothing wrong with the Network Object... it's quite easy to use and works well.

Direct play is very good for this. I find it's alot easier than the Moo Api, but the only prob is the selecting thing. You have to select TCP/IP connection, you can't have dedicated servers like Moo.
