Hi,
I am having trouble getting the HS to work.
MMF 1.5
I have created the HS on a blank frame, and set it up. When the level finishes it should go to the HS, which it does, but the score is higher than the lowest score, but it does not ask for the player name.
The condition set up is:
Has player got a high-score? in the HS object, ask player name is ticked.
I have searched here, and found other post mentioning this but not has actually come up with a solution.
Any ideas where I am going wrong, or could you explain how you set the high score

First of all, remove your event that says "If player has high score ask for players name" because you dont need it. The High Score object will automatically ask for the players name if the score is large enough.
Secondly, make sure your using the "Player 1 Score" counter instead of a basic counter, because the High Score object will only recognise values in the Player Score field.
If you do that, then when you link to the page with the high score table, it'll ask for the name automatically.
And yes, I tried it just then to make sure, and it works perfectly

I must be thick.
Ok
I have started a new app, just to test this
here is what i did
1.Create Frame.
2. Added Score object and checked that it was set to player 1.
3. Added condition that after 5 seconds add 99999 to players score
4. jump to next page.
This page has the High score Object on it.
5. the high score was just left at it was on the page.
6. 3 entries for the names and all scores at zero.
Run the application.
the score increased after 5 seconds and then jumped to the high score page.
Nothing happened.
Any idea's
