Hey, Joe here. How's everyone ?
Anyway, I honestly don't like the new downloads section. In theory, it's good, but has anyone seen the top games ?
Halo 2 ? Come on, people. There's a ton of great games that deserve to be the top games.
The other problem is that we're being overrun by n00bs. Many of the games submitted a day don't even deserve to live. Am I right ?

No, but noobs and the experienced are what this place is about, poeple are SUPPOSE to actually try to make good games, unfortunately not many do this correctly and thus we have crap..

That is because of the age of the klikers and artists. Making a game its too exhausting. So some games here took 1 week max to develop.. thats just the estimation I made by taking the quality into account. A "nice" game can take 4 months to develop, or something..and that's if the programers and artists are good.

Just wait a lil while, it's a new system that the higher the rating the better the chance it has of ppl playing (cause they'll see the score and such). Yeah i know that Halo 2 game is in the top, but only like 5 games have been voting. Maybe you should just wait till more games get rated.

Yeah like Crono said, its gonna take a little time. Take time for more good games to be voted on and for more people that started voting.

Yep, at the start you cant expect all the best games to suddenly appear in the top list... you need to wait for people to start voting.
This was the reason why a games percentage doesnt appear until it has at least 5 votes, that way you wont get a game having 100% (or 0% for that matter) until a few people have taken the time to play it.

The new rating system rocks. You can give n00bs the idea there game is bad, without having to tell them via comments.

I think you should also keep the Top 10 downloads thing up. because most of those game wont get the votes because there piled under so much crap. i voted for Eternal Daughter just before, so i could try and get it back up there.

It will just take awhile for the real good games and classics to stick out. There need to be more votes for the system to work acurately.

yeah, cant you play around with the records a bit so ED and EG etc come onto the top of that list so that noobs can find them? just an idea.

When you see what you describe as awful games from beginners, leave a comment telling them what to improve about it (and if it's "everything", tell them how.) We all need constructive criticism and experience.
