there's too much to list. but i'll try (correct me if i'm wrong, people)

- 10000 active object limit (vs 260 for TGF)
- improved animation editor
- many more powerful extensions, including the array object and direct show, which lets you plauy DVDs
- larger event limit (i dont know how many exactly)
- directx support
- much more functional level editor and event editor

some people will tell you not to get MMF because its interface sucks. whilst it is not as simple as TGF's, you'll soon get used to it, so dont listen to them (i speak from experience ).

remember to claim your discount from clickteam if you decide to get MMF! i think it's about 10% so its worth it.

Thanks for that!

I am getting it very soon now!

I had a go with the trial version, and the interface seemed a little bit confusing, but Im sure I will get used to it

Does it work well on Windows XP?

Because I have a semi-old PC, that is about 500 MHz with Windows 98 that I use TGF on
And I have a very new PC, which has 2.8 GHz with Windows XP, and im thinking of using it on that

So which should I use it on?
And is there anything else I need to keep in mind before installing?

You will get used to the interface after about three or four days. MMF works well on my disgustingly old 300MHz PC (buggin' me dad to get a new one.) So there is no reason it shouln't work well on a 500MHz one.

Dont worry about pc specs my brothers pc is 200mhz and it runs fine, i used to use TGF Pro for a year and then got mmf 1.2 thought it was brill so i upgraded again to 1.5, when u first use it - it is confusing but as he said you learn to love it, people may say it sucks...but its harder because you have many more options, are you getting home or pro?

I agree with Pete though, the MMF interface isn't as easy as TGF's because it has many more windows to get used too. But you do need to take time & get used to it. Plus you can edit the menu bars to best suit your liking.
