My uni accomodation has sent me a letter saying I have to pay in advance £800 as soon as I get there, which is before I enrol on my course which gives me my student loan...so I can't pay it. What the f**king monkeys am I gonna do now lol. No way my parents have that lying around.
And of course they send this letter 2 days before I go on holiday--and as soon as I get back--I have to go to uni. Great planning, nobcheeses.
*cries*

is i t your first year? i wouldnt worry cos usually they understand and let u pay when u arrive- at least thats wot happended in my first year and with my sister and differetn unis

Ali yeh exactly the problem--I don't have £800 in my account to give to them when I arrive...
My parents told me not to worry and they'd sort it, but my uni really is crap. They've lied about stuff aswell like they supply bed linen etc--latest letter: oh no wait, they don't.
GAHHH. Then there's the money issues of still being able to have a good time (not just getting drunk, just general socialising--being able to afford sport stuff etc). It's gonna be a nightmare.
Lol my mate told me he's saved £3,500 working at tescos. Course I'm happy for him, but secretly mad  I've got like a measly £400 lol.

I'm glad I don't have to worry about all of that living on campus crap. I don't even know where the on site accommodation for our uni is! 
Although I do have to travel over 2 hours a day to get to and from.
Plus, campus life has its 'benefits'! 
...although I get drunk enough and hit on chicks enough at uni as it is...apart from engineering chicks! YUK...that's not why I study it!

Death Reaper - i meant they give u a fwe days for your loan to go in before they hound u for accomodation - i know some guys who only just paid there accomodation for last year this year
As for linen that sucks- i got new linen everyweek and duvets and pillows every month - im in a house this year so not looking forward to doing all the washing!!
Drinkin wise, i would make the most of it inyour first year cos i think im gona have to be abit more sober this year :-s but at 85p a pints some nites, i cant resist....
Ladies- yep bound to be pletny, even if not on your course
Youll survive on the moeny - sort yourself a student bank accoutn with a free overdraft justin case
Finally , have fun - my first year was the best year of my life

Good luck with warwick Paul. Are you carrying on with kliking? I've installed it on the old comp I'm taking, but I'm not sure which time etc. I spose any free time I do have it should be working for £££ But kliking is addictive

I'm at the University of Technology Sydney. More than 80% of the entire faculty are blokes, and in first year, which i'm doing, there's about 2 or 3 "pretty hot" girls out of around 40 or so.
As I said, i'm not in it for the women...I would have done an arts degree or nursing or something similar if I was in it for da ladies
But there's still an abundance of hotties around the place. My uni tends to have alot of people...enough said.

Paul, I remember you asking me about good places in Birmingham. There aint any  . The Bull Ring Shopping Centre and Broad Street (clubs) are the better places.
Just dont go ice skating. Trust me, it was in the local paper. Oh at Aston Uni (i went to an open day there) do not fall over outside. The place is full of used syringes.
Perry Bar is a no go, thats where all the shootings are  .
Unis suck. I jad to go into clearing becuase of lies. First they said it would be in the city campus. When i accept the offer, they send a pack saying its at friggin Telford Campus! So ive changed my Uni, and this seems (touchwood) ok.
