please grow up. we've helped you again, and again, and again, you've heeded little to none of our advice and we've still put up with it. you submit a game, and it gets crap reviews, so what do you do? delete it. WHY?
you should have left it up so that other people can see where you're going wrong. i consider deleting one of your things just because it gets a few bad comments to be the height of immaturity. i spent time writing that review, pointing out what was wrong, albeit in a cynical fashion. im sure the others who reviewed and commented on it also wasted there time for you. and you repay us by deleting the game?
this bit goes for everyone. sure, you may not like what was written, but you should at least be able to accept it, READ what it says, and take in the advice.
well, that's me done. this is not a flame, but a general plea for you to stop wasting our time. the next game we see from you had better be better, otherwise i give up.
He could've edited the download to say "WARNING! BAD GAME ALERT!!!1" in the title, but no... you delete it. He deleted all his other games, too, which means I have 3 reviews for 'Unknown Game XXXX'.
fire, please accept the fact that your game is rubbish. Don't dc-mail me saying "WHAT THE [expletive deleted] IT DOESN'T DESERVE 0/10". This just shows your immaturity and it does nothing positive at all. Take in what we said, remove all the bad things that we pointed out and/or ridiculed, and add a new download. However, make sure the game is marginally better than before, otherwise you're going to be marked down for not making any improvements. If fibaire (the newer version) was one of your first games, I would've given you 2/10. (Well, it is double the score...) It's not your first game, though, it's your 6th or 7th game. Where did it all go wrong? Luckily, I've been charting your progress:
Note: That line should be straight but I couldn't draw straight with a trackball. (searches for graphics tablet drivers)
Next he'll be telling us how good our mums were last night.
Show me the power child,
I'd like to say,
That I'm down on my knees today,
Gives me the butterflies,
Gives me away,
'Til I'm up on my feet again,
I'm feeling outshined.
You have to admit, Fire takes criticism quite well, at least he doesn't start getting all abusive etc. And anyway, I think Fibaire 1.3 was actually 'playable' nothing spectacular but a decent attempt.
hmmm, yuh I remember some of his games, not too good were they? - anyway, you say you know the '3d'language well, what language might that be? because jamagic has its own language and I doubt you have tried it before..
He's made a few articles/examples about Jamagic, don't know how good they are because I haven't looked at them... anyway, I'll be reasonably optimistic, and wait until he finishes the game.
Thank you Rycon, I didn't think it worked for normal paintbrush tools. And if it doesn't, I'll go and use vectors next time
Chris Branch - No prob, you learn these things after wacking your head, trying to get a straight line.
It seems fire took it so well it turned the whole energy of the post around, everybody is cheering him on. lol, if this next game sux its gonna be chaos.
