You don't really sign up... admins just get picked when they're needed

I think you have to become really involved and then get the admins to like you, once your in you can dispatch them.

you have to be well known so those in charge know if you are admin material.
usually more experienced users get chosen.

Hi
Admins are chosen in one of two ways:
1. If there is an expert user who is well known and participates frequently at this site, they are asked to join the administration.
2. Other users respond to "Admin Quests" which are run every once in a while as needed. You will be asked to do something to prove your suitability (for example, write an article). It's not what you write about that's important, but how well you write it.
