I made a game awhile back called Harmonius: Original Sin. I wanted it to be dual analog in order to play, but I only had TGF Pro at the time.....I couldn't manage it so I purchased MMF 1.5 with the upgraded patch a few weeks ago. I am trying to make the game all over from scratch and found an analog object under MMF's many objects. I put it on the screen and can't get it to do anything. How do I get Analog Controller Object to work? I'd like for the player to move the heroine with the analogs. The left analog will be reserved for moving the player around the screen. The second analog will be used for directing the player's weapons. I don't want to use MMF's 8 directional movement, b/c it's jerky. Can anyone help me? Once I get past this hurdle I am going to try and make the game multiplayer. Thanks in advance for all suggestions.

that object is used to get the x, y positions, etc of the joystick. it seems that you retrive all the info from it via the expression editor, but i've never used it before so i don't even know if it works.

I find it hard to believe that no one has used Analog Object that comes with MMF 1.5 Pro. It just seems like someone would have done so by now. I don't really understand how to make the player respond to the analog joystick. In the event editor what cause is necessary to recognize the controller? Do I need to set player's movement to bounce and turn start movement to off then once the joystick is pressed in a desired direction have player move in that direction with movement set to on? I've done that part already w/out the analog object, but it requires the keyboard and is a little daunting. I had hoped someone would be able to pull off the analog ordeal. <sigh> Thanks for the help anyway....I'll try and mess with it some more.
