Well, for Mr Stump I'm creating a series of boss fights. The only problem is is that I'm having boss fight block. I really can't think of any ideas, apart from ripping off Sonic. Does anyone else have problems like this?
For the bosses on Jonny Storm I'm trying to do things that I think would be damn cool in a movie or something (or has already been damn cool in a movie -a rip off, if you will) but with a traditional computer game twist, eg boss 1: Jonny is on a giant space ship thing flying in the earths atmosphere, boss comes allong and blows it up (boss is flying space ship thing with twin miniguns -quite sonic the hedgehog visually) and Jonny leaps off the space ship thing and has to destroy the boss while skydiving, iether by shooting it from the side or by landing on top of it and shooting it (all while an altitude counter at the top counts down rapidly). When he's destroyed the boss, his arch nemesis Dr Deadly comes out,with a parachute, and Jonny has to fight for his life in hand to hand combat while spiralling through the air in order to wrestle the parachute from him, as he gets closer to the earth bellow and the music reaches a creschendo, and the burning wreck or the space ship plunges down in the distance. It's pretty damn cool, and although it's a rip off of moonraker it's different enough from most click bosses to feel pretty fresh.

bosses on sonic usually stand still or move slowly.
when you fight the evil dude of you in metroid fusion he follows you and when near he attacks you.
maybe the boss might have a half life kinda feel? What i mean by this is that you should press a button and flame comes out (three green snakes boss).
so you dont need to jump on the enemies head all the time. You could press a button to fire a gun, survive for 10 minutes, knock out the enemie's two hands to destroy it for example
OK. First, you think of an idea. Make sure it fits in with your game
Now, let say your idea was a errr... A nazi... penguin... in a, emmm... Tank!
You would draw this penguin in a tank, and then, program his attacks. It makes bosses a lot better, if they have attack pattens that change. So your Nazi Penguin in a tank could start by shooting his cannon at your once every 4 or so secs. Once you have damaged the boss a bit, he could change his attack to, I dunno, firing a minigun on the tank. Or something. I dunno. Your the Admin, Circy. Use your godlike powers or something.
Man that would be tough but cool if all of them had different attacks and you get your life refilled after each one but that's way to much programming for any regular man.
Well, you would fight maybe 5 of them at once and as you kill them, more come, until all 100 are dead. Kind of like multi man melee in Smash Brothers Melee. It would take a little time to program but most cool stuff does.

I say make something like a huge man eating plant with little man eating plants by it and it shoots fireballs and crap make it do something else when it's almost dead so it'll make it harder for stump,dump or whatever his name is.
or a wizard or something that dissapears maybe? or since it's almost christmas make it a mutant santa .Or like a giant robot head in the background that shoots sonars at you and he shoots eyeball lasers and stuff. and since the games in stumps mouth i say the last boss should be master tooth
well since your game is inside MR.Stump ... maybe THE HEARTBURN MONSTER orrr... just make a boss that really relates to the area, say
one of your areas look industrial with lotsa metal, maybe have a Iron Golem walking around punching near you that creates shockwaves! hmmm?

A duck in power armour that shoots ninja stars from a gun above his hand, then when he stops shooting, walk into a clone machine. Your clone runs away. he then gives chase, then when he's not looking, the ol' fork in the eye.
How about a boss fight where you are actually above the boss, and little platforms generate and when you jump on them they fall on the boss. I was using that as a boss battle, but abandoned the game that it was in.
well theres many ways to approach a boss fight. 1) The boss is connected to the ground and can go under ground and shoot stuff. 2)A floating boss that has a simple path movement but does a random special thing every certain amount of time like teleport. 3) a fast fling boss that goes across the screen and you have to stop him in a cetain way. 4)One that goes with the style of the main character, but like upgraded. Bigger bullets, more moves, etc. I can go on for a good long time but i hope you got some ideas

Some...interesting ideas there peeps, but you forget that Mr Stumps Dentures is a platformer, in which you jump on the bad guys heads...and theres only so much you can do with boss fights like that (even Sonic bosses repeated themselves (Take Sky Sanctuary Zone in Sonic and Knuckles, it had a boss from Sonic 1, a boss from Sonic 2, and another boss from Sonic 2 (the metal Sonic in Death Egg). I've had an idea for a 3rd boss, and I'm working on it right now, but boy this is challenging.

Theres no point in Mecha Mr Stump His alter-ego, Mr Dump, is the games main villain, and he's a Gold version of Mr Stump
Oh, I have three more boss fights to do (aside from the Final Boss, which I have already planned)
A boss for a lava world
A boss for an underground cave
A boss for a treetop world
Once I've finished off the bosses, all I need to do is to complete the final two worlds, add some neato extras, work on the 2-player mode, and it'll be done!
