Im currently using the List object in MMF for incoming chat and reporting information as it comes in, but you can only choose a colored background Does anyone know how you can make this have a transparent background, or know a alternative to the list object? (Without using strings)

you want to use the rich edit object, not the list, it lets you do so many more things than the list

Hmm, I havent given Rich Edit Object much look before, but sadly this still doesnt have the option for a trasnparent background. For the type of thing im doing (Chat/Information Box) the list object is much better, since at any time I can ADD LINE = "" and display the info I need, if only I could make it transparent..

Edit objects can have transparent backgrounds, and in MMF 1.5 (latest build) you can add a line simply with "Text" + Newline$. Also it has the advantage if something is too wide it will wrap over two lines instead of going off the right...

Ah, yeah that is an advantage, how exactly do you make it transparent is my question.
