I like the graphics on the sides. Most of the knowledge in there is good, but I would have said a bare-bone minimum for a video card is 64mb, not 32mb.
My brother's 32mb card couldn't really run games like Dungeon Siege that well on higher resolutions. My GeForce2 Mx400 (64mb) runs it at 1024x768, max details, at 24-36fps.(16fps in huge graphical battles)
Last year though(due to his 32mb card being too slow) he upgraded to a NVidia FX5200 128mb card, for $60 canadian. So far it runs most games fine on medium detail levels, and my GeForce 2 still manages atleast 8fps on all the new games.
It's really good for the CPU & mobos etc , but I think you need to revise the graphics cards section a little.
For gaming these days, your gonna have to have a direct X 9 card to even run the latest releases (Deus Ex 2, Far Cry etc) which have pixel shading technology. I'd say a 64mb GeForce 2 just doesn't cut the mustard any more as it can't run the games as mentioned above at all (although it's still a solid card for running the older releases).
Also, I think that the difference between PCI & AGP is much greater that you mentioned. It's true that the latest PCI slots on motherboards are quite fast, but for older motherboards the PCI slots can mean up to a 20% performance difference when compared to AGP. I remember when I had an old integrated 8mb graphics, and brought aa 32mb TNT2 pci for it, and it bearly boosted the performance at all!
I just read his news and learned something! Lol!
I guess that IS what it's there for.
Also, I was reading "Motherboards from Hell" and
thought it was funny I was being mentioned.
(btw: my father is kick...nose... at UT against bots)
(he beat masterful and tried inhuman, but I can beat him easily)
(funny since I don't do well on masterful...)
And Kramy: 1024x768?!?!?! Thats unheard of!
(well, to me) sounds like a waste, flip it
down to 800x600.
(then again, maybe you don't need to...)

I just read the bit about the Athlon 64 lol (its all true but if you have read my other post, you know i have almost built a machine using one of them ).
I've been learning a lot of photoshop interface stuff, I
might have to make the site look better.
