Somone has offered to compose music for my game project, but they want thier music protected; technicaly this should be simple as TGF codes the music inside the game file BUT I want to have music continue between frames using the DMC2/MCI object. The only feasable work around I can see is to get an encryption object to encrypt the files after they have been loaded into the game. I'm using TGF, alternative solutions would be greatfully accepted, as I've yet to find a an encryption object that I like.

I never see why people bother going to so much trouble to protect their graphics and sounds like this. Nobody is going to steal it. If you spot someone ripping your stuff, and it's not some newbie just having a bit of fun, tell them to stop. If they're making money off your stuff, sue them.
Anyway, even with all this protection in place, either Print Screen or holding a microphone to the speakers usually will do, for a ripper.
And on an actually useful note, the Blowfish object (or Binary object by 3ee which can do Blowfish encryption) is the best way to encrypt stuff. Blowfish encryption is the most secure encryption available to Clickers.
Tigerworks, I'm not that fussed about Rippers, just honouring the requests of people who are giving up thier free time to help me.
I didn't know the Binary object did Blowfish encryption; thats dead helpful.
Thanks.
[EDIT]
I found and downloaded a copy of the Binary Object, but TGF isn't recognising it (its not appearing on the extentions list) after I renamed it to a .gox extention I have a copy of TGF 1.6 ; and I've removed every other Extention I can afford to; I'm left with String,ComboBox,ListBox,DirectPlay,Drawline,Display Properties,Slidebar,GlobalArray,FastLoop,File,Ini+ and Search. I guess I just love extentions too much...

Yeah, I looked on the messageboard for the Extention list and it turned out that the link pointed to the MMF version, so I managed to guess the link on the 3ee site.
It all seems to be working well now, thanks again.
