David Newton (DavidN) Invisible Registered 27/10/2002 Points 8322	8th September, 2004 at 14:08:14 - In short, use Sound Recorder, and in Audio Properties (double click on the sound icon in the system tray) set the recording device to Stereo Mix - at least, that's what it is on mine. Don't put the volume up too high or you'll get a terrible bursting effect. As for WAV to MP3 conversion, I'd recommend "CDex" for that. http://www.davidn.co.nr - Games, music, living in America

Is there a program that is free I can use? aslo, when I use the recorder that came in free with windows XP it has a limit of 60 seconds recording Edited by the Author. http://www.robocaptain.com

You can put like reverb, chorus and delay kinda effects on your recordings...which can make some wicked sounding stuff. Not to mention lots of handy editing tools.
