Hey, I was wondering if anybody had any thoughts for programming a screen mate in MMF. I created a window 32x32 and drew a little character, next I made it move with a window positioning extension.
The only problem I'm having is the colour of the background, I can't make it transparent. The only other alterative is to make my character a square. This could probabley be done in Jamagic or VB, but any ideas for MMF would be appreciated.
What, you mean like that fucking paperclip or those eva window sitters? Try 'grab desktop at start' in the frame preferences. You might have to refresh it somehow (like maybe repeatedly restarting the application) if things behind it are changing.

Yep that's my prob. Grab desktop only grabs it once, I need it to update.
uve probably already done this and even though i dont know how ur extention works how about while the mouse button is held down on him flag 1 is set on and when flag 1 is on the extention drags it? and when u let go flag 1 is turned off so wouldnt that make it refresh?

It's okay now guys, I've worked it out. All I needed was the window shape object and I can make the window and size and shape I need. Thanks for your input.
