Mayhem Triple is the long, long running project which a few people may remember (But I doubt any of them expected it to be finished). I've been silent on it for over a year but yeah, it's still being made, it's much farther than it's ever been, and has 2 complete, cinematic levels.

Here's a video and some screenshots for the first level, which is a combination tutorial and cinematic intro.
You're being ordered around by a dying man, FROM THE FUTURE, who's being proceeded by tons and tons of bunny invasion ships, also from future.
The hero is Mig Carter, a man living just south of the border. He inexplicably has great gunfighting and acrobatics skills, which is lucky because he's humanity's last hope.
