I believe I have little chance of winning the competition...but what's the harm in trying eh?
Battlestar is a shoot-em-up game. There will be plenty of power-ups, ships, secrets and so forth to keep you interested including a bonus game.
The game isn't just limited to just the side view shown, there will be circumstances when the view or control system will differ. Battles will take place on planets in space stations and in space giving a variety of nice backgrounds and enemies.
I only hope I can finish it before the deadline.
(By the way, the graphics in the screen are very early sprites and backgrounds which will probably change, which of course will make it look better)
