Project Overview  
Preview This is for the "Next gen Compo", but will NOT be competing!

X was my first game ever created, but never submitted to TDC. Well, just for fun, this is a remake version for my "Next gen Compo".

It's a beat 'em up platformer where you can throw kunais, stars, Shuriken, even dynamite. Slash enemies to oblivion with your Twin Katanas and perform insane combos and attacks, or Own up your enemies with a Shotgun or Uzi. This is NOT your average everyday Ninja game!

There are also areas where abit of thinking is involved. Such as opening a gate with a puzzling lock.

Good news- I've completed some AI- I can sleep now!! It sucks, but hey- it's my first COMPLEX AI. I also believe I've successfully removed the laggy parallaxing from my System background boxes, Thank Buckets.

Hypercam kinda screwed it up abit. The game really isn't this jumpy...

Well my main concern is if I'm going to get this done by June 30th or what, but I don't want to add another level until I have all of the animations done, and the AI programmed. I added fire trails to the slashing animations, however this doesn't include the "Giant shuriken of ouchdom".

I AM getting very close to finishing al of the animations, but I still need to program AI.

I've also added a screen shaker widget so now the game is abit more intense. It's fits in very well, but it really screws up the parallaxing, and I have no idea why it happened or how to fix it.

Been working hard on X's animations and they're looking really cool and the game plays pretty well. I still have yet to add enemy AI to the mix but that will come as soon I get X's animations complete.

Video anyone?
