Right now I'm learning the power of OINC! I viewed some of the tutorials from the clickteam forums and I wanted to see how far I could go while making a cool online game. I'll probably bomb in the end, but I want to see how this will turn out. Rolox is helping me along the way! The name of the game is "Assassination" and it's pretty much an online game with servers. There may be multiple game types such as...

A wide river in the middle, splitting the map in two halfs (top and bottom)
Two bridges to cross the river

Over 20 different weapons including pistols, machine guns, shotguns, flame throwers, etc.

Well Lacewing just came out For those who don't know what it is, it's pretty much a better stable version of OINC, but rewritten. No more random bugs and crashes That means Assassination can finally start to move again!
There's also a program on that page that will convert your OINC games to LACEWING games. It may cause your came to stop working, because some actions/conditions may have been changed in the extension, so REMEMBER TO BACK UP YOUR GAMES!
Yeah, title explains it all. Most of the NORTH SIDE structures are drawn out. All I have to do now is fill in the buildings with color and add invisible detectors everywhere as walls for collision.
I have a troubling bug for anyone who can figure this out:
"In my "Lobby Game" frame, if you connect with more than two people, one person doesn't show up on everyone's screen! In my game, it switches channels regularly with a "lobby game" channel, checking to see if anyone just signs on to the lobby, so my game can send its info so it can be updated. That may be the problem, i don't know."
If you think you have a solution, please suggest it. Thanks! Pictures will come soon
I just fixed the collision bug! Now you will actually stop when hitting a wall I accidentally had the wall on a different layer then the detectors, so it wouldn't work. Thanks to Don Luciano for pointing this out on the boards!
Expect a playable engine beta hopefully by this weekend!
Just finished the helicopter! Here's a few pictures. One of the helipad, one of the helicopter, and one of both. Do you like it? How can I improve it if needed? (The blue things are spawn points. They are invisible during runtime...)
