A stealth-action survival horror game with a story focused on on an uncle and his niece and nephew who experience the terror of Leatherface before Sally Hardesty and her friends of the original Texas Chain Saw Massacre film. The story will completely respect and honor the original as well as build on it as you would expect a prequel to. There will be stealth in the way that you don't want to be seen by or heard by Leatherface. This will include sound effects with different volumes that will affect Leatherface's alertness to you. For example, running over leaves in the game will make a louder sound than just walking over them. The louder sounds will travel farther and therefore be more likely to be heard by Leatherface. There will be many other features as well in the game, such as being able to throw a rock to make a distracting noise, being able to push things in front of door ways, and using a metal bar to defend yourself. In terms of developemental progress of the game, so far I have most of the sound code, a number of graphics, and I am working on animations of the the main character.
Leatherface has now been added as well as the player character's ability to throw rocks to create a distracting noise. These two things can be seen in this video:

Also, I have a video of the opening narration, like in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies, that goes along with this game's story:

I have the rock throwing code and animations now. Even though this is a short update, I think it's important for showing that the game is coming steadily along.
Most of the main charater's (the one controlled by the player) animations are done. The code for the the flashlight is done. The flashlight attempts to replicate the look of the one used by the characters in the film when they are walking through the dark woods of the Sawyer property.
