I started this project years ago and had almost half of it done in late 2001. After getting frustrated with it, I took a long hiatus, lasting until a year ago. I figured I had spent so much time on it, that it would be a shame if I didn't finish it. Now that it's approximately 80% done, I decided to release the first sneak peek.
The game is Zoon Saga and it's a metroidvania styled platformer. Due to it being an earlier project of mine, it doesn't have many weapons or items, and the gameplay is fairly basic compared to what I'd do if I had started it recently. I'm still working on the boss fights, character dialog, and the soundtrack (which will probably be the biggest highlight of the game).
Unfortunately, I don't have an estimated release date yet. I haven't had much time to work on it lately, so I'm not sure when it'll be ready for release.
