The Daily Click ::. Downloads ::. Review Review: That Night Before (ACT 4)
Finally, the sequel to The Night Before Act 1-3 has arrived. I've played TNB 1, 2, and 3 all the way without cheating. Those games were excellent. This one's even better. Although, I'm usually a guy who finds anything to criticize, I'd have to say this game is nearly flawless. Sure, the graphics could use more detailed animations, be in 3D, actually have shadows and smoke coming out of cigars ![]() The game has excellent puzzles and all of them are perfectly logical, unlike most adventure games. What I mean by logical is that the solution tends to be obvious, but that doesn't mean that they didn't leave out wacky stuff like a helium blowfish ![]() If I still had TNB Acts 1-4, I'd replay this game yet again. For the first time ever, I think I found a klik game that's flawless gameplay-wise. Gameplay Flawless & fun gameplay 10 points total Presentation Nice, cute graphics +7 points Still uses the annoying question box that we're all too familiar with. -1 point 6 points total Lastability 2 days, personally +7 points It has a few prequels to add to it +3 points Almost no replayability, except maybe once or twice, just to look at it from a movie-ish point of view -2 points 8 points total Overall A wonderful game. It would be perfect if it lasted longer and had better graphics. Heck, it already beats half the COMMERCIAL adventure games that I know...and I've played quite a few. For the first time, I'm giving a game a 9 out of 10. 9 points total
