The Daily Click ::. Downloads ::. Review Review: Unknown Game 4784
Presentation: This is probably the game's weakest point. When you start the game, you encounter the title screen with the option to change resolution. After that, you directly enter the save/load screen. I suppose this isn't the kind of game you play for its story though. One annoyance is that you can't maximize the game unless you change res. 7/10 Gameplay: The game uses the standard CnC platform engine, though heavily modified. I haven't encountered any of the usual CnC platform engine bugs, though the jet upgrade does remind you that this is not a fully custom engine. I must applaud Christopher on the work he has done on improving the CnC engine. 8/10 Graphics: The graphics are original, reminiscent of SNES and Mega Drive/Genesis era games and fits the game well. The backgrounds have improved from the previous parts, where they were a bit more generic. 7/10 Sound and Music: The sound effects are from the original 4Four. The music is from Megaman X2 and Ys III mixed with a few original tunes. It sounds good to me. 8/10 Lastability: It took me a couple of tries to finish, most if not all of them from death by the boss. He reminds me of someone... ![]() It's worth noting that you must have played through the previous 2 parts to play this one, I would highly recommend making sure you've gotten all items on the previous parts as well (when you do, it is shown as a smiley). It's a great game and at 911 kb, you can't really go wrong. Enjoy!
