He might have been exaggerating - even I would have to agree there is a very noticeable difference in quality...
...although I didn't have a clue what you were talking about for a minute there - symbols? (cymbals )
Your post on toilet paper reminded me of something too...
"Going for a wax and edge" is ski tech slang for "going to the toilet". This is because part of the procedure for a wax and edge (the most common service provided), is to run the skis over a wet belt sander, which uses very abrasive sandpaper belts - much like the toilet paper you find in pub toilets in the Alps.

And a wide variety of other music.
PS: I absolutely agree with Hayo about music genre. I hate trying to describe the type of genre I like. I like music that I think sounds good. I could love one song, and hate every other song in that particular genre. Edited by Silveraura

Whenever we have these threads, I always feel like I've shared some of the songs before.

"Whenever we have these threads, I always feel like I've shared some of the songs before."
Probably because there has already been a load of these threads

So I probably have then!
Oh well. If it's worth sharing, it's probably worth sharing more than once.
So this post feels useful, I'll recommend the rest of the Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood soundtrack as well. Lovely music.

I've been sticking to a few different styles of music as of late.
early- to mid-90's indie rock.
afrobeat and afrofunk from the late 60's.
thrash punk from the late 70's and early 80's.
i've also been more interested in orchestra music (classical or contemporary) as of late.

I've just discovered the recently formed Apex Manor. They're a surprisingly good band! You can listen to the full album free here if you've got the time.

Although I already posted the Rocketeer Soundtrack, I don't really like it for the film, but rather for its use in a musical fountain:
