Here is some pixelart I did, it took me about 5 hours but I think it was worth it.
I made it in the TGF picture editor with a really cool palette Matt Esch (lilmouse software) gave me.
For people younger than 40, Neil Young is a singer/songwriter who is about 58 years old now(still going strong tho)
It's really hard to be nitpicky with this one. I have to say that this not only shows competence with pixelart techniques, but utter mastery. Excellent details, shading, and lighting. Your colors are well chosen and the details are absolutely exquisite. Is that a reflection I can see in his shades? From the friz of the hair to the folds in the clothes, you've really pushed the pixels to their limit.
His left hand seems a little awkward. I know that the angle of the wrist is pretty severe anyway, but the shading makes it look even more so. His left arm seems to be in slight disagreement with his left hand. Might just be me, though.
Other than that, some of the transition shadows strike me as odd (as in, between his right arm and the guitar, or between his right pants and his right shoe).
Still. Thumbs up.
